The DPX-2B Pulsar is a Voran defense emplacement built to lock down approach vectors and punish any force that tests the perimeter. Its tracking systems are meant to cover the ugly moments of a siege, when raiders, missiles, and low-orbit thrust signatures all arrive at once. Once the Pulsar is raised or anchored, nearby systems read it as a declaration that Voran control is no longer negotiable.
