The COL-1A Ascendant is a Voran colony vessel meant to carry the first wave of settlers, machines, and civic authority into newly claimed worlds. Habitation stacks, fabrication stores, and civil-support modules let it seed a foothold before permanent infrastructure is in place. On the frontier, the arrival of the Ascendant usually means the Voran do not intend to leave when the weather turns or the shooting starts.
